Their Love Story
Jodi and Urban met on Match.com. Urban emailed Jodi saying that she caught his attention when she used the words "fresh powder" (a skiing reference).
In Jodi's words it was divine intervention. "I almost didn't go on a 2nd date with him. It's a long story but I went to bed the night before date 2 thinking I would cancel. That morning I woke up, sat up in bed and said (out loud) 'I have to go out with him again'. We went out 6 out of 7 days that next week and then agreed to be exclusive. Five months later Urban and his two daughters came to NY for Xmas with me and we both knew we couldn't see our lives without each other. We are best friends, partners and lovers."
After 5 1/2 months dating, Urban's two daughters painted on a wall in a spare bedroom "Will you marry our daddy?" And she said "Yes"!
Their Wedding
The Mansion at West Sayville was both the location for their beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course and their brunch reception with 80 of their closets family and friends. Urban's two daughters Jade and Palmaryne stood in as Groomswomen for their Dad and Jodi's two brothers Bobby and Tim were her Bridesmen. I know confusing but heartfelt and beautiful :)
