Jaclyn + Greg | Wedding - Miller Surf Club, Miller Place

Their Love Story...Jaclyn and Greg fell in love one summer while exploring New York's beautiful parks and taking photo opportunities. They both share a love of art and design. (Me too!) After 3 years of dating Greg proposed while out on another photo road trip at Montauk Lighthouse.

Their Wedding...
With their ceremony cut short by a heavy downpour, thunder and lightning and all, they still quickly said their I Do's and proceeded to party with family and friends. It wasn't long before the sun came out.
Their advice for the newly engaged...

"Don't sweat the small stuff! (my motto) Focus on what matters most - marrying the woman/man you love in front of the friends and family you adore!"

Julie + Anthony | Wedding - Gorgios, Baiting Hollow

Their Love Story...Julie and Anthony fell for each other while they were both attending college at Johnson and Wales but knew they both had a lot of life to live before settling down. They dated for 2 years before going their separate ways, then 4 years later they got back together. They had grown up and were on the right paths, what better time to get back with your soulmate and make plans for the future. Anthony had their dog dressed in a tshirt that read "Will you marry my Dad?" So funny!

Their Wedding...

Julie and Anthony had a beautiful affair laid out for them by Giorgios from beginning to end. Their ceremony was right there overlooking the golf course and vineyard, followed by an elegant reception.

Lyndsay + Jeff | Wedding - Martha Clara Vineyard

Their Love Story...
Their story gives new meaning to Friendly's, lol. They meet working there in their senior year of high school and Jeff asked Lyndsay to the prom.

Their Wedding...

Lyndsay, like so many other brides was obsessed with Pinterest photos and gave me a whole list of them. I secretly thought she was crazy and that we'd never get them all, but guess what we did and they were ten times better! Lyndsay and Jeff had everything perfectly planned to the t and it was a rustic barn wedding like no other. Lyndsay's dress was gorgeous and seeing her father cry when he saw her brought tears to my eyes. These guys really know how to party and ended the night with a peanut butter wedding cake, a pie table and Blondies Desert Truck parked out front. What a night!

Their advice for the newly engaged...

"Get a wedding planner!"

Jennifer + Jay | Wedding - Danfords Hotel and Marina

Their Love Story...After years of trying to ignore their attraction to each other they finally gave in and went on a date. The rest is history - 5 years later Jay put on his "special" brown jacket reserved for special occasions and asked Jen to marry him and their two Dobermans.

Their Wedding...

Jen, Jay and their two Dobermans got married under a handmade arch made by Jay on the beach at Danfords while close family and friends watched from nearby dock. As the sun began to set they literally tied the knot of rope from the arch.

Their advice for the newly engaged...

"Enjoy every moment, give in to each other, continue to go on dates, kiss often and laugh more often.."

Amanda + Dominick | Wedding - Bellport Country Club

Their Love Story...This is one of those stories that make you believe that what is meant to be will be. Amanda and Dominick lived in homes across the street from one another and even went to preschool together. Amanda's family moved away and 25 years later they met up again. Amanda and Dom are so adorable together, they are clearly a perfect match and I enjoyed every minute of getting to know them Especially during their engagement session when Dom spilled champagne everywhere and a giant spider crawled right onto Amanda. lol!

Their Wedding...
I'd thought I'd seen it all but being greeted by Amanda's Dad on the porch with his shot gun was priceless.
Amanda and Dom said their "I do's" in a traditional ceremony then headed off to the beach for some fun photos and beer shooters with their bridal party. Later that night they danced to John Legend "All of Me" while their family and friends looked on.

Their advice for the newly engaged...

"Always kiss each other good night"

Vanessa + Kevin | Wedding - Raphael Vineyard, Peconic

Their Love Story...
Vanessa and Kevin met while attending Suffolk Community College. During Marketing class Vanessa would watch tv on her phone and Kevin who sat behind her would watch over her shoulder. Kevin finally asked Vanessa out to have dinner at Dave and Buster's. After finishing college and several jobs later they realized they had something special and Kevin decided to ask Vanessa with a special dinner at The View in NYC and had the waiter present desert with "Will you marry me" in icing.

Their Wedding...

Raphael Vineyard has to be my favorite venue on Long Island and Vanessa and Kevin really pulled out all the punches. There ceremony took place overlooking the vineyard and everywhere you looked there were beautiful sunflowers and pretty little touches. Vanessa presented her groom with a very special guitar signed by his favorite band and he sat down in the vines and played for her(I melted, of course). The celebration was in the gorgeous dining room followed by dancing until midnight in the tasting room. Kevin even played a few songs with the band. To end the evening there was a dessert spread to die for and Cinnabon booth and Dipping Dots.

Amy + Jay | Wedding - Martha Clara Vineyard, Riverhead

Their Love Story...
Amy and Jay met while working at the Brickhouse Brewery. While dating other people their friendship grew and they often went to each other for relationship advice. During this time Jay planned and plotted on how to ask Amy out. After 2 years of dating they were certain that they belonged together. And so Valentines Day at the Empire State Building (can we all say "awww") Jay proposed.

Their Wedding...
After spending a few hours with Amy and Jay down at South Street Seaport for their engagement session and a few margaritas, I knew their wedding would be awesome and they didn't disappoint.

The ceremony took place outside overlooking the vineyards at Martha Clara just before sunset with a celebration in the rustic barn decorated with various dyi touches made by Amy and Jay.
Btw - Since they got married on 7/11/14 we had to stop at 7eleven for free slurpees for the bridal party.

Kristin + Russ | Wedding - Aruba (yes, Aruba)/Captain Bills

Their Love Story...

Kristin and Russ met 11 years ago at a friends house and the rest is history.

Their Wedding...

What can I say about Kristin and Russ... I love them! First off I met them back in 2013 for an engagement shoot with their adorable rescue pup, Penny. We had such a good time and they explained they were getting married in Aruba. The next time I heard from them was to ask if I would photograph their wedding, duh! of course I would! I honestly could go on and on about how amazing the whole experience was but you could see from the photos.

The ceremony took place on the beach at Mancebo Beach Resort, followed by an intimate dinner at Pinchos Bar and Grill. The next day, despite all the celebrating we went out on a Russ driven jeep tour of the less tourist side of the island. Kristen was such a trooper and wanted to do everything! What daredevils these two are!

Back in NY, a month later the two hosted a lovely reception with all their friends and family that were unable to attend the Aruba wedding.

Thank you Kristin and Russ for trusting me to capture those once in a lifetime moments.XOXO

Their advice for the newly engaged...

Jessica + Peter | Wedding - Fox Hollow

Their Love Story...So the story they probably will not tell their grandchildren is how the met at a toga party while both attending UMass. After graduating they continued their long distance relationship. On a trip to Ireland Peter had Jessica hike up a mountain where a photographer was waiting to capture the proposal.

Their Wedding...

Jessica is a crazy Pinterest fan and gave me lots of photos she wanted to replicate. I'm ususally not a big fan of trying this out because they are natural moments and bridal party doesn't always cooperate. Well in this case BP was on target and couldn't wait to take all the silly photos Jessica and Peter wanted. After that they had their celebration at Fox Hollow.

Their advice for the newly engaged...

"Remember that it is "Our Wedding, both get input into the planning"

Since Karen had always had a crush on the 4 year older Mike, she said "yes". And so they had a double date at Adventureland in Farmingdale. Of course what better place to celebrate their wedding photos...where it all began 8 years earlier.

Their Wedding...

Surrounded by their family and friends Karen and Mike said "I Do" at St. Kilian's Church in Farmingdale then off for a stop at Adventureland for some fun photos. They danced to John Legend - All of Me and celebrated until midnight at Fox Hollow, Woodbury.
